About the role
- Shape vision and execution of Vanta's Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Product Pillar.
- Drive design excellence in complex, high-impact product areas to help customers navigate compliance.
- Partner closely with Product and Engineering to design clear, efficient experiences.
- Influence product strategy, align cross-functional teams, and elevate design practices.
- Lead strategic projects that deliver substantial customer value and impact multiple departments.
- Conduct customer discovery to inform product strategy and craft compelling narratives.
- Mentor other designers and contribute to the design system to maintain consistent, high-quality standards.
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience delivering high-quality B2B SaaS products on large-scale projects.
- Demonstrated track record of maintaining high executional quality and organizational impact.
- Independent in driving discovery processes and leveraging customer insights to inform product strategy.
- Skilled in leading the design process from ambiguity to concept and execution for entire product areas.
- Strong ability to mentor and influence others, including senior and executive management teams.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex problem-solving.
- Proven success in driving design strategy, systemic thinking, and strong product sensibility.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating design concepts to diverse audiences.
- Proficient in managing complex projects, timelines, and proactive escalation handling.
- Portfolio required, showcasing consumer-grade craftsmanship and effective product solutions tailored to customer needs.
