About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with business units to support Wealth Management clients with assets of $5 million or more
  • Facilitate communication about wealth purpose and intentions within families
  • Provide educational resources to beneficiaries on responsible wealth stewardship
  • Prepare family members for future roles and responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one and group coaching for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families
  • Develop standardized family meeting processes
  • Present at client events, conferences, and workshops
  • Lead projects and develop facilitation and learning methods
  • Develop family legacy marketing materials, programs, educational resources, and thought leadership
  • Apply analytical and facilitation skills to support change within family systems
  • Align contributions with wealth planning strategies and business outcomes
  • Coordinate across Vanguard’s matrixed organization with peers and senior leaders
  • Develop content, training, and instructional designs using adaptable facilitation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of experience consulting, coaching, and/or advising wealthy families, family businesses, and/or family offices
  • Experience facilitating one-to-one and group conversations, virtually or in person
  • Experience facilitating financial, business, wealth planning, and succession planning conversations
  • Skills in adult training, leadership, process consulting, and coaching
  • Experience facilitating and teaching large groups
  • Experience applying new content to create individual and family change outcomes
  • Proven track record managing small-scale projects involving family legacy marketing materials and programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience communicating regularly with UHNW clients
  • Superior presentation skills for individuals, families, and larger groups
  • Ability to create educational resources and thought leadership using subject matter expertise
  • Experience or subject matter expertise in family systems theory, family psychology, family education, family business frameworks, behavioral finance, financial therapy, leadership theories, or related areas
  • Advanced analytical and facilitation abilities
  • Understanding of business priorities and the competitive landscape
  • Ability to align individual contributions with wealth planning strategies and business outcomes
  • Proven ability to drive business goals and coordinate across a highly matrixed organization
  • Skills in content development, training, instructional design, and adaptable facilitation
  • Must not require visa sponsorship; Vanguard is not offering visa sponsorship for this position
