About the role
- Implement and support Azure-based infrastructure solutions, IAAS, PAAS, SAAS components
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like ARM templates or Terraform
- Manage and monitor Azure resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
- Design, Deploy and Support Azure cloud native components such as Landing Zones, Subscriptions, Availability Zones, Storage, Serverless, Network Security Groups, Load Balancers, Containerization, System Administration, Backups, Patching, etc
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), network security groups (NSGs), and Azure Policy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud solutions, services and integrate Azure services into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Optimize Azure resource usage and manage cost through Azure Cost Management and budgeting tools
- Maintain documentation of cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures
- Trains and mentors more junior staff on processes and releases
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues elevated from staff
Requirements
- Minimum of five years related work experience
- Technical skills - Azure, Infostructure as a code, Bicep, Terrform
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience
