About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, implement, and manage enterprise unified communications and collaboration platforms
- Identify opportunities to improve resiliency, performance, and user experience
- Provide senior-level support for mission-critical communication services
- Lead major incident response, root cause analysis, and remediation planning
- Define and enforce platform architecture and technical standards
- Manage change control processes and provide post-deployment support
- Evaluate vendor platforms and recommend technology solutions
- Develop and maintain operational documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical escalation point
- Support ongoing system administration and participate in cross-functional initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in platform engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong experience in unified communications, collaboration engineering, or related enterprise infrastructure roles
- Hands-on experience with enterprise collaboration platforms such as Zoom, Webex, Google Workspace, or similar UC technologies
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities across endpoints, identity, networking, security, and cloud services
- Solid understanding of networking and security fundamentals
- Experience leading complex implementations and service improvements
- Strong communication skills
