Key responsibilities & impact

Design, engineer, configure, and support CMDB functionality within the ServiceNow platform.
Build CMDB solutions aligned with ServiceNow best practices and performance standards.
Support implementation, optimization, and adoption of advanced ServiceNow capabilities.
Ensure CMDB-related services remain stable, secure, resilient, and scalable.
Provide dedicated engineering coverage where broader ServiceNow platform teams are capacity constrained.
Accelerate delivery by reducing cycle time for enhancements and fixes impacting CMDB workflows.
Identify and reduce technical debt to improve maintainability and reliability of the platform.
Partner closely with CMDB governance, operations, and client teams to translate requirements into durable technical implementations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of five years related work experience.
Three years of service assets and configuration management experience.
Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
Graduate degree preferred.
Deep, hands-on experience engineering solutions on the ServiceNow platform, with strong CMDB expertise.
Proven ability to design and support scalable, enterprise-grade platform solutions.
Experience supporting ServiceNow implementations, upgrades, and new feature adoption.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner effectively with governance, product, and operational teams.
Comfort working in environments with high platform demand and competing priorities.
