About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provides expert level IT technical lead services and direction for critical software projects
  • Ensures the viability of IT deliverables
  • Identifies potential solutions and approves technical solutions proposed by team members
  • Communicates with key stakeholders on project issues
  • Maintains a current knowledge of IT development methodology
  • Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout product life cycle

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of hands‑on development experience building and operating data platforms or large‑scale data pipelines
  • Some marketing data domain knowledge
  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
  • Understanding of big data and streaming architectures
  • Strong grounding in modern engineering practices
  • Experience with cloud‑native data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Proficiency in data engineering and analytics languages
  • Experience designing and building distributed, scalable, and resilient data pipelines
  • Strong product mindset
  • Experience designing and consuming APIs and microservices
