About the role
- Define and own the IGA product vision and roadmap, aligned to Vanguard’s Zero Trust strategy and enterprise risk priorities
- Drive modernization of IGA capabilities, including lifecycle management, access requests, certifications, roles, entitlements, and policy enforcement
- Own and prioritize the IGA product backlog, balancing regulatory requirements, risk reduction, operational efficiency, and user experience
- Partner with IAM engineering to deliver scalable, API driven, and automation first solutions
- Identify and drive opportunities to eliminate manual governance processes through automation and orchestration
- Serve as the primary IGA product interface to cybersecurity, compliance, audit, HR, application owners, and global IAM operations
- Communicate product direction, tradeoffs, and progress clearly to senior stakeholders
- Ensure IGA capabilities meet regulatory and audit requirements, including SOX, SOC, and enterprise control standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Technical Product Manager owning complex platforms or internal products
- Strong ability to define vision, prioritize effectively, and deliver outcomes through cross‑functional teams
- Solid understanding of workforce IAM and IGA concepts, including: Joiner / Mover / Leaver lifecycle, Access requests and approvals, Access certifications, Roles, entitlements, and SoD, Identity governance controls and audit evidence
- Ability to partner deeply with engineers on APIs, integrations, workflows, and data models
- Experience using metrics and analytics to drive product decisions and measure success
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in product management, IAM, cybersecurity, or enterprise platforms
- Experience in financial services or regulated environments preferred.
