About the role
- Achieves established sales and retention goals through strategic selling activities.
- Provides leadership and guidance to other sales executives, extended sales team members, and support staff.
- Develop a strategic sales plan to identify new business relationships.
- Partners with advisor organizations to drive acceptance of Vanguard solutions.
- Represents Vanguard's investments and services in various settings.
- Leverages vendor partnership to deliver 401k plan solutions.
- Develops strong relationships with senior and executive management of prospect and client organizations.
- Identifies prospect/client needs and proposes appropriate Vanguard solutions.
- Raises awareness of Vanguard's investments through targeted prospecting activities.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Master’s degree and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.
- Three to five years financial services experience with at least two years of successful institutional sales experience preferred.
- Up to 25% travel is required.
- This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC). Series 7 and Series 63 required.
