About the role

  • Establish the data foundation that will power FAS today and in the future
  • Operationalize FAS’s domain-driven, enterprise-aligned data strategy
  • Drive data-as-a-product principles
  • Establish governance for trusted, governed, and AI-ready data products
  • Develop a roadmap supporting real-time, analytics- and AI-ready data capabilities
  • Implement governance policies, standards, and oversight across analytics and operational data
  • Lead onboarding and harmonization of multiple external data packs
  • Partner with FAS Technology to implement modern data patterns

Requirements

  • 10+ years in data management leadership
  • 5+ years in financial services
  • Expertise in domain-driven design, data governance frameworks, and data-as-a-product operating models
  • Experience integrating multiple third-party data sources and managing vendor governance
  • Strong knowledge of metadata, lineage, data quality, and cataloging
  • Familiarity with real-time data architectures and AI/analytics enablement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data/Analytics, Engineering or related field
  • Preferred: Experience with advisor/intermediary distribution data and taxonomies
  • Preferred: Advanced degree or certifications (CDMP, DAMA, cloud)
  • Preferred: Exposure to hyper-personalization, agentic AI architectures, and operational analytics use cases
