About the role
- Collaborate with municipal index portfolio managers and traders to develop and implement investment strategies
- Lead day-to-day management of municipal bond index ETFs, including trade execution and portfolio construction/rebalancing
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with external trading counterparties and internal partners (credit research, risk, operations, legal, investment strategy)
- Represent the Municipal Index team and funds to internal and external stakeholders, conferences, and associations
- Partner with investment technology to develop tools that enhance portfolio management efficiency and insight
- Mentor and develop less tenured team members
Requirements
- Ten years of related work experience
- Five years municipal bond fund, ETF, or separately managed account portfolio management experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or statistics or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred
- MBA and/or CFA preferred
- Experience collaborating with credit research, investment risk, trading operations, legal, and investment technology
- Ability to mentor and develop less tenured team members
