About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Safeguard the site/warehouse building and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
- Align with CM/PM on budgets for tooling, equipment, and warehouse costs/purchases
- Control inventory levels through physical counts and reconciliation with the data storage system
- Maintain warehouse condition through layout planning, equipment inspections, repair work orders, and replacement requisitions
- Audit and report inventory and maintain digital material-flow logs
- Export Hubble data into Excel for incoming, outgoing, and inventory tracking
- Maintain accurate material trackers in Hubble, Excel, or Smartsheet for project-team visibility
- Manage warehouse associates, including work, attendance, time, and safe equipment use
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols for efficiency
- Set and communicate weekly warehouse and team goals with executive management and team leads
- Monitor federal and state safety regulations and complete safety reporting using VI safety software and Procore
- Coordinate with Supply Chain, Procurement, and other departments to ship and track products against project schedules
- Finalize warehouse locations and budget alignments with the PM
- Create logistics plans using the company template
- Hire and manage warehouse staff with the CM/Site Lead
- Set up warehouse scanners, racking, barcoded locations, and organization systems
- Receive, put away, and transfer material using scanners while aligning physical and digital records
- Coordinate material look-ahead and staging to support on-time site deliveries and reduce installation delays
- Assist with jigs, prefabrication areas, and prefab processes to improve installation efficiency
- Coordinate inventory and ship dates with SC/VIM/NADC to align with installation and deliveries
- Maintain current inventory reports in shared project files, with no more than a 36-hour update delay
- Conduct bi-weekly self-audits
- Communicate issues and needs to the project team
- Lead material-management responsibilities at the PWH and enter Omnitrackers
- Train staff on reporting requirements and maintain safe, code-compliant warehouses
- Walk the project site with SM team members at least twice weekly
Requirements

- Familiarity with bookkeeping, inventory control practices, and logistics
- Comfortable using inventory management software and organizational computer applications
- Ability to read, interpret, and develop supply chain and warehouse inventory reports
- Physical strength and stamina; ability to walk or stand for long periods
- Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel; VLOOKUP and concatenation knowledge a plus
- Mechanical equipment knowledge, including motors and baggage handling systems, a plus
- Ability to maintain safe, code-compliant warehouses
- Ability to handle and lead material-management responsibilities
- This is a full-time, exempt position
