About the role
- Lead the shift operations for PLC Controls and Automation.
- Provide technical support to the site O&M team for troubleshooting.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance.
- Monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and implement improvement measures.
- Develop and install programs using automation software and custom coding languages.
- Troubleshoot system errors to minimize downtime.
- Document development processes to ensure system reliability and scalability.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Mechatronic, or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Formal training and certification in PLC programming and system troubleshooting from an OEM.
- Experience 5+ years of experience in automation systems, including design, device selection, installation, commissioning, and testing.
- 3+ years of solid expertise in PLC programming, support, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Siemens PLCs and associated products.
- Extensive knowledge of control panel components, drives, SCADA, DCS, and plant visualization systems.
- Experience with interfaces like PLC-IT, analog, and digital interfaces.
- Hands-on experience in baggage or material handling systems is a strong advantage.
