About the role
- Based on mechanical layout and drive list, create single line diagrams
- Electrical power calculations & dimensioning of system to ensure compliance with voltage drop, short circuit current, and selectivity
- Analyze the tender specification and design drawings
- SAP & BOQ generation
- Order materials needed for electrical installation
- Create detailed design layouts and wiring diagrams using ePLAN
- Create and manage projects with REVIT software
- Create and maintain families in Revit
- Analyze design and develop necessary project documentation
- Create reports, sheets, and schedules in Revit for material ordering
- Create purchase requisitions within SAP
- Work closely and coordinate across various departments
- Manage and ensure that all project quality procedures are followed
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 4 to 5 years of professional experience in electrical design and installation practices in the Logistics automation domain
- Hand on experience of REVIT
- CANECO BT
- Autocad
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft word
- Power point
- Knowledge of Eplan P8 would be an added advantage
- Prior knowledge of trunking & cable layout design with clear installation practices
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage internal & external stakeholders
- Good to have worked in multicultural environment
- PLC knowledge would be an advantage
