Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct on-site walkthroughs and interviews with staff and residents to collect high-quality data.
Synthesize findings into clear, actionable reports that identify deficiencies and conform to OIG/OIE standards.
Support the creation of complex workpapers and draft site-specific reports outlining deficiencies and recommendations.
Coordinate with medical subject matter experts to integrate specialized findings into draft reports.
Ability to travel 1 to 2 weeks per month and remain 24-hour ready for unannounced facility visits.
Capacity to walk 15,000+ steps, stand for 8–10 hours, and carry equipment through various facility terrains.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 3 years of experience in performance auditing or inspection under GAGAS and Blue Book standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Public Policy, Finance, or a related field.
Superior writing skills with the ability to produce detailed assessments under tight deadlines.
U.S. Citizenship.
Being bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole, or French is a plus.
Able to pass a Tier 2 (Moderate Risk) public trust fitness screening.
Must be free of any actual or perceived conflicts of interest (COI) relative to the facilities under review.
