Key responsibilities & impact

Perform rigorous Quality Control and Quality Assurance (QC/QA) of all deliverables, ensuring every finding is backed by a solid chain of evidence
Ensure all inspection reports and fieldwork strictly adhere to Blue Book (QSI&E) and GAGAS requirements
Review and refine site-specific reports, cross-examining findings to ensure they withstand high-level legal and administrative scrutiny
Apply a litigation-ready approach to all fieldwork and documentation to support evidentiary integrity
Provide detailed risk analysis and trends identified during inspections to assist in strategic planning
Provide formal recommendations for improvements to compliance review processes and interview protocols
Manage timelines for corrections, ensuring all rejected deliverables are addressed within 2 business days.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience as a civil litigator or legal project manager is required
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
A Master’s degree, a Juris Doctor (J.D.) is preferred
Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in high-level compliance, legal review, or federal oversight
Proven expertise in managing quality control for performance audits or inspections under GAGAS and QSI&E (Blue Book) standards
Advanced ability to identify evidentiary gaps and synthesize raw data into fact-based, persuasive narratives
Exceptional technical writing and proofreading skills
U.S. Citizenship is required
Must be able to successfully pass a Tier 2/Moderate Risk public trust fitness screening
Must be free of any actual or perceived conflicts of interest relative to the agencies or programs under review.
