About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify and qualify new prospective customers through structured outbound outreach (e.g., cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking)
- Take ownership of qualified opportunities after the initial qualification and develop them systematically through the sales process
- Active pipeline management including maintenance, prioritization, and realistic forecasting
- Prepare deals operationally and substantively for sales leadership (e.g., deal reviews, proposal foundations, decision logic, internal alignment)
- Support sales leadership in ongoing sales processes through follow-ups, documentation, analysis, and process coordination
- Work closely with SDRs, Solution Consultants, and Marketing
- Ensure high data quality in the CRM system (HubSpot) and continuously improve sales processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in business/economics or equivalent qualification
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales, ideally in a SaaS or tech environment
- Strong understanding of complex sales processes, deal structures, and decision-making paths in mid-sized and larger companies
- Structured, data-driven working style and ability to maintain an overview of complex pipelines
- Clear, professional, and confident communication—internally and externally
- Experience with CRM systems such as HubSpot and an understanding of their importance for successful sales
- Team player who takes ownership and actively supports others in sales
- Willingness to work remotely and to travel as needed
- Excellent German and English skills
