About the role
- Develop and scale a new, profitable revenue stream for Valpak leveraging data products and audience targeting capabilities
- Position Valpak’s audience solutions as a core part of clients’ marketing strategies
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and translate complex data solutions into actionable business value
- Establish and execute prospecting strategies and build a prospecting pipeline to close agencies and purchasers of data and martech products
- Define and execute account strategies with publishers, data companies, advertisers and agencies
- Make outbound calls, emails, social media outreach, and conference networking to generate, present, and close new business
- Identify sales prospects and work with leadership on prospect strategy
- Collaborate with internal teams and perform related duties as needed
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience in the data, online media/advertising experience
- Demonstrated a history and success of contracting and developing client relationships at the senior (Decision Maker) level or Agency level
- Hands-on experience with building a prospecting pipeline and closing agencies and purchasers of data and affiliated martech products
- Demonstrate the ability to establish relationships at the executive and decision maker level and close
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated, and results oriented
- Extensive knowledge of online advertising, media, affiliate marketing and online and mobile commerce
- Ability to manage priorities, multiple initiatives, and deadlines and to operate with a sense of urgency
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- Multi-tasking capability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passionate about print, digital media, and media planning
- Fully remote work
