Accountant

• Review and validate reporting packages submitted by subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy, consistency and compliance with group policies
• Execute monthly/quarterly consolidation procedures, including intercompany eliminations and adjustments
• Prepare quarterly group-level analytical commentaries to support external reporting disclosures
• Prepare IFRS-compliant disclosures and notes for interim and annual consolidated financial statements
• Review iXBRL tagging in line with applicable taxonomy frameworks (e.g. SEC, ESEF)
• Compile documentation and provide clear explanations to external auditors on consolidation and reporting matters
• Perform and document SOX 404 internal controls, ensuring effectiveness and audit readiness
• Assess the IFRS implications of business transactions and draft technical accounting memos
• Responsible for dedicated technical accounting areas (e.g. IFRS 15, IFRS 2)
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of the Group Accounting Manual
• Support with the implementation and optimization of consolidation systems and other finance digitalization projects
• Assist in the adoption and rollout of new accounting standards, including IFRS 18

• Develop and execute a global professional services category strategy, bringing spend under management and aligning initiatives with business priorities.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies, processes, and controls while strengthening governance, transparency, and audit readiness.
• Rationalize and consolidate the supplier base to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and maximize value across all professional service categories.
• Lead RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management, including oversight of Statements of Work (SOWs) to ensure quality and compliance.
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and TCO improvements without compromising service quality or business continuity.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across HR, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Compliance to understand business needs and align sourcing strategies.
• Manage supplier performance against SLAs and KPIs, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
• Implement best practices, tools, and templates to enhance consistency, efficiency, and scalability across procurement operations.
• Integrate ESG and responsible sourcing principles into category strategies, supporting sustainability, supplier diversity, and ethical business practices.

Manager

• Serve as a medical consultant between Valneva and its customers regarding medical information, technical complaints, and pharmacovigilance activities, ensuring scientific integrity and regulatory compliance
• Represent Valneva’s medical and scientific expertise for assigned products and relevant therapeutic areas, including development-stage products
• Manage global customer service inquiries: triage and handle medical queries, drug safety topics, and quality complaints in line with applicable SOPs
• Provide, document, and track medical/scientific information related to assigned and development products, ensuring accurate scientific communication
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners involved in medical information, pharmacovigilance, and quality assurance
• Support with the implementation of AI-driven digitalization of Medical Information Service
• Support with the creation of FAQ documents and training materials
• Deliver product training sessions for external partners and internal teams
• Prepare quarterly medical information reports and statistics, incorporating data from both internal sources and external collaborators
• Conduct literature reviews and screen travel sites for relevant medical information articles (as backup)
