About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain reporting solutions supporting decision-making across the Tampere and Lapua pressure part production workshops
Design and maintain data models and reporting structures for reliable, accessible business information
Build, maintain and enhance Power BI reports, semantic models and KPI dashboards for production, quality and operational performance
Identify bottlenecks and support development of digital solutions and automation tools
Collaborate with production, development and digitalization stakeholders
Participate in Valmet-wide digitalization solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field
Relevant experience through work, internships or summer jobs involving reporting, analytics, digital solutions or process development
Understanding of manufacturing environments and industrial operations gained through practical experience
Knowledge of reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI
Understanding of LEAN principles and continuous improvement is beneficial
Good Finnish and English language skills, written and spoken
Interest in data, reporting and digital development
Ability to translate data into insights and combine analytical thinking with a hands-on approach
Alignment with Valmet’s Leadership Principles
