About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work at multiple customer sites and provide preventive and predictive maintenance on Valmet QCS and DCS equipment.
Customer update meetings.
Constant customer training and interactions with operations.
Perform system upgrades as needed.
Updating control logic as needed.
Perform sensor correlations.
Controls tuning.
Preventive and remedial maintenance.
Provide remote phone and internet support to customers.
Generate reports after each customer visit.
Travel typically within the work week, with some work over weekends expected.

Requirements

What you’ll need

A bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Chemical or Paper engineering with relevant experience.
Instrumentation and controls background.
Understanding of Cyber Security fundamentals.
Good understanding of Virtual System.
Experience in a QCS/DCS/Quality support role.
Good working knowledge of Windows and networking.
Knowledge of Word and Excel.
Good interpersonal skills.
The ability to use tools appropriately and in a safe manner.
Be able to lift up to 30lbs.
Strong fault-finding skills and paying attention to detail.
