About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Play a key role in safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of Valmet’s financial data.
Work with global teams to improve Record-to-Report processes and systems.
Support monthly reporting and ensure financial data is accurately transferred and reconciled from accounting systems to the reporting layer.
Support financial data quality by providing accounting and reporting expertise to business partners and the wider Global Finance organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and/or a recognized accounting qualification.
At least 4 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Knowledge of integrated finance systems; experience with HFM and LN/SAP is considered an advantage.
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and collaborate across teams.
Proven ability to identify critical issues, resolve process challenges, and spot opportunities for improvement.
Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and effectively.
Fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
Understanding of Valmet’s business model and ways of working is considered an advantage.
