About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for leading, growing, and developing the Performance Parts organization
- Drive strategic service initiatives and standardize operational processes
- Improve performance and expand service offerings
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, and customers
- Participate in strategic planning to define core product offerings and identify priority customer segments
- Support long term business planning aligned with Valmet’s overall strategic objectives
- Implement consistent practices, procedures, and business processes across the region
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, safety, and efficiency
- Review and audit contract language for compliance with company policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Paper Science, Business, or a related field
- 5–7 years of technical experience such as machine engineering, process management, mill operations, or maintenance management
- More than 10 years of experience leading sales teams, managing strategic plans, and executing targeted business initiatives
- Proven ability to drive business growth and manage operational performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel throughout North America and participate in global events
