About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and develop the automation sales team to build the best Pulp & Paper industry sales capability in the Asia Pacific region
  • Have your own customer base to serve
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships with key customers
  • Clearly understand the needs and concerns of customers
  • Ensure the right automation solutions at the right time
  • Sell/close contracts for new automation systems (DCS, QCS, Analyzers/measurements) investment projects, upgrades, rebuilds within specified territory & customer base
  • Develop and manage sales activities within specified geography, product line, or market segment to achieve established sales targets
  • Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or master’s Degree
  • Proven track record of leading sales team to reach set targets.
  • Proven ability in creating & selling profitable solutions, including achieving results in high pressure situations
  • Good knowledge of pulp and paper processes and customer drivers gained by 15+ years of experience in working with pulp & paper industry
  • Good experience and knowledge of commercial terms / contracts is a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills, leadership capability to lead and work in a (virtual) team even in multicultural / matrixed organization
  • Good communication skills in English, as well as presentation and facilitation skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel
