About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the execution of site services within the Site Mechanical Team
Work closely with Field Service, Sales, Product teams, Engineering, and Project Management teams
Support and foster a team with focus on HSE
Coordinate scheduling technical, trade, equipment, and other project resources
Active role in business development plans
Direct and facilitate the work of advisors, millwrights, alignment crews, pipe fitters, and electricians
Assist in customer and internal presentations related to installation, operation, and maintenance
Provide support training for Valmet product lines
Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Internal policies related to site projects
Expectation of administrative support while not on-site

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology
Minimum of five years of related hands-on mechanical experience
Working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, rigging, pipefitting, millwrighting and machining preferred
Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
Must be able to oversee projects and manage all aspects of leading a sub-contractor crew
Ability to travel by air or automobile up to 200 days a year
