About the role
- Responsible for developing, managing, and leading sales activities in service solutions mainly in Europe for flue gas treatment with a focus on wood-based panel and mineral wool industries
- Maintain close contact with customers and stakeholders, leveraging Valmet’s strong customer network and EMEA sales organization
- Identify customer needs, lead the proposal team, and find profitable solutions by combining Valmet technologies with value-adding services
- Conduct technical and commercial negotiations with support from Valmet engineering experts
- Ensure customer satisfaction with viable contractual terms in a competitive business environment
- Proactively and customer-orientedly create new business opportunities
- Customer support and marketing-related activities to strengthen Valmet’s brand as a supplier.
Requirements
- Degree: M.Sc. (Eng.), B.Sc. (Eng.), B.B.A., or equivalent
- Experience in technology-driven project sales and/or execution
- Excellent customer focus and service mindset
- Knowledge of the wood-based panel and mineral wool industries; energy sector experience is an advantage
- Familiarity with flue gas treatment processes, wet electrostatic precipitators, and industrial processes
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions
- Strong commitment and proactive approach
- Fluent in English and German, spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel mainly within EMEA.
