About the role
- Leads one of the site works categories together with core and extended team to have goal-oriented collaboration with external and internal stakeholder groups
- Develops and executes category strategies together with internal stakeholders in alignment with growth targets keeping enhanced focus on cost competitive countries sourcing
- Leads a matrix category team with a balanced mix of commercial, technical, and regional expertise
- Conducts supplier, industry, and market research to inform sourcing strategies and decisions
- Ensures supplier base capable of developing quality, delivery, cost as well as capacity and demand challenges
- Conducts competitive tenders and negotiations to achieve cost savings and favorable contractual terms
- Identifies and mitigate supply chain risks proactively
- Ensures compliance with sourcing policies, approval processes and ISO standards
Requirements
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Economics or related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Category Management or Sourcing in industrial sector in international organizations
- Experience in project site services / construction site workforce contracting and management would be a strong asset
- Experience in global sourcing or supplier consolidation programs
- Fluent spoken and written English
