About the role
- Actively engage with customers to generate interest in Valmet’s portfolio of advanced and energy-efficient solutions.
- Oversee the full range of sales activities and build long-term partnerships with pulp and paper mills.
- Develop long-term strategies and business results within the Stock Preparation area for key customers.
- Prepare technical and commercial attractive proposals in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Manage the entire sales process—from initial inquiry to negotiation and closing.
Requirements
- A degree in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Solid knowledge of the paper and/or board production process.
- Previous experience as a Process Engineer or Production Manager in a mill environment considered ideal.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact confidently with customers.
- Excellent command of French and good proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- A valid driver’s license and readiness for regular overnight travel (up to 50/75% of working days).
