About the role
- Lead the development and execution of Valmet’s M&A strategy
- Identify and evaluate acquisition targets and strategic partnerships
- Lead the transaction process and negotiations in collaboration with legal, financial, and operational teams
- Lead due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, pricing and deal structuring
- Present strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Oversee successful post-merger integration
Requirements
- Strong background in M&A transactions
- Expertise in business case development, financial modeling, valuation, negotiations and deal structuring
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Advanced degree in Finance, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in M&A
- At least 5 years in a management role
- Experience in investment banking or similarly broad M&A roles
