About the role

  • Participate in daily operative work
  • Participate in development projects globally: including process workflow, quality, compliance and process development
  • Identifying and understanding the requirements and gaps in finance solutions
  • Providing expertise and advice on accounting issues to stakeholders
  • Working closely with Business Finance and other stakeholders
  • Bank accounts management and related financial accounting and reporting
  • Implementing Valmet Payment and Treasury policies
  • Daily bank Statement handling process
  • Payments processing: Trade payments, Manual Payments, Tax, Payroll, Travel and expense claims
  • Cash Forecasting incl. Balances monitoring
  • Period-end closing, valuations, reconciliations and balance sheet specifications

Requirements

  • Expert in cash management
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and standards
  • Experience with tools such as Infor LN, M3 and Nomentia Cash Management
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and/or a recognized accounting qualification
  • Previous working experience within financial accounting and reporting
  • Self-motivated drive to fulfil requirements and meet timelines
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to deliver complex messages
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, competence in other languages is an advantage.
