About the role
- Actively contacting potential customers, partners and other stakeholders to develop demonstration and commercial projects for chemical recycling of plastics
- Seeking alternative and parallel paths to the market
- Developing the business plan as we go
- Reporting to the Director, Circularity Growth Technology Unit
Requirements
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant professional work experience, such as project development or sales in relevant industry
- Relevant educational background (e.g. higher university degree in economics, chemical engineering, chemistry, industrial engineering and management)
- Relevant industry experience, e.g. petrochemical, waste management or thermal processes
- Proven ability to convert customer needs and opportunities into sales
- Demonstrated proactiveness and capability to work independently
- High level competence in investment calculations
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English along with presentation, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Other languages are considered as an advantage
- Teamwork skills in different and diverse teams
- High level of ambitiousness
- Business mindset and eagerness to continuously learn and develop yourself
- Willingness and ability to travel heavily on an international basis
- Previous experience in chemical recycling of plastics or in project development e.g. in waste processing, are considered as a big advantage
