About the role
- Acting as the key point of contact for pulp mill clients in Finland, ensuring customer satisfaction and high-quality service and cost competitive solutions.
- Selling improvement and maintenance projects, expert field services, workshop services, agreements and spare parts within Valmet scope, including all aspects of customer relationship and satisfaction management.
- Leading sales projects in co-operation with internal stakeholders.
- Supporting customers by identifying their needs and responding quickly with solutions to improve their processes and results.
- Developing and executing appropriate Valmet Sales Strategy.
- Developing sales, business, actions and marketing plans.
- Coordinating and leading mill team activities towards specific customers.
- Developing additional sales activities with operations.
Requirements
- Strong technical background (Bachelor/ Master) in pulp technologies.
- Between 5-7 years’ experience in various sales, project management or related positions.
- Strong understanding of Pulp Industry.
- Willingness to travel in Finland, typically 30 to 60% depending on your location.
- Experience in communication and commercial discussions.
- Awareness in contract law with hands-on experience negotiating complex project contracts.
- Strong experience of Customer Value Chain.
- High level of commitment, strong working capacity.
- Fluent spoken and written Finnish and English, other languages are an asset.
