About the role
- Valimail is a leader in Email Authentication as a Service; this role manages post-sales customer relationships to drive renewals and expansion
- Own the post-sales end-to-end customer relationship for assigned accounts; understand account health and sentiment
- Proactively identify customer needs and provide solutions that support growth through upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate with customers to set clear and achievable goals for their success at both user and executive levels
- Monitor renewal risk indicators and take proactive actions with internal teams to mitigate risk
- Manage and assist with escalations to ensure timely and high-quality resolutions
- Carry an NRR quota with specific metrics associated with the revenue and renewal cycle
Requirements
- 4+ years of successful experience as a quota-carrying Account Manager or Customer Success Manager within the SaaS industry
- Proven experience with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding individual and team revenue targets
- A deep understanding of the sales cycle and customer retention strategies
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Cross-functional collaborator
- Adaptable, self-disciplined, detail-oriented & well-organized
- Resourceful problem solver who effectively manages competing priorities and raises issues to the accurate channels
- Bonus: Experience in the security industry
- Bonus: DMARC experience, knowledge of email authentication, and cybersecurity is a plus
