About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new clients and counterparties
- Liaise with KYC/AML, tax, credit and documentation teams to gather required information
- Track onboarding progress against SLAs and escalate delays
- Support client communications about onboarding requirements and timelines
- Support collection and review of KYC documentation
- Maintain organised onboarding documentation records and audit trails
- Set up and maintain client static and reference data across trading and risk systems
- Maintain legal entity details, LEIs, SSIs and tax classifications
- Support change control and maintain a “golden source” approach to client data
- Support product eligibility checks, market access setup, trading limits and standing instructions
- Ensure documentation and system configurations align with product approvals
- Support pre-trade control checks and identify data gaps affecting STP or downstream processing
- Contribute to data quality and onboarding-efficiency improvements
- Contribute to onboarding timeliness, client-data accuracy and reduction of onboarding-related breaks or data issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, data manipulation and reconciliation
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Interest in automation, data analysis and process improvement
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and control awareness
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple tasks
- Exposure to Python, Alteryx, VBA, Power BI or similar tools is advantageous but not required
