About the role
- Support DISA by aligning business strategy with IT capabilities across enterprise programs.
- Develop and maintain enterprise business and IT architectures aligning organizational strategy, mission objectives, and operational requirements.
- Translate business needs into enterprise-level solutions to optimize workflows, ensure interoperability, and enhance mission performance.
- Provide expert-level guidance on strategic planning, segmentation, and solution architecture for enterprise IT initiatives.
- Lead architecture reviews ensuring solutions align with industry best practices, cybersecurity standards, and DISA’s enterprise objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and collaboration sessions with stakeholders to capture business requirements and define future-state architectures.
- Serve as a governance lead for business architecture practices ensuring compliance with ITIL standards and DoD frameworks.
- Contribute to Agile planning and execution, applying Scrum principles to architecture initiatives.
- Collaborate with technical leads, system engineers, and program managers to ensure architectural integrity throughout the SDLC.
- Produce technical deliverables including roadmaps, strategy papers, architecture views, and compliance documentation.
- Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies to support enterprise modernization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- Scrum Master Certification.
- Axelos ITIL v3 Certification (minimum).
- Demonstrated expert-level knowledge in planning, directing, and managing IT projects or operations in a large-scale, complex organization.
- Expertise in industry-accepted standards and best practices related to strategic planning, segmentation, solution design, and cyber architecture.
- Preferred: Five years of IT Architecture experience.
- Preferred: Five years of IT experience in a Federal Government environment.
- Preferred: CISCO Certified DevNet Associate.
- Preferred: Axelos ITIL v4 certification.
- Preferred: Experience supporting DISA or other Department of Defense enterprise-level IT programs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
