About the role
- Serve as onsite construction leadership supporting the daily execution of federal projects
- Coordinate field activities, subcontractors, inspections, and site logistics
- Work collaboratively with Superintendents, Project Managers, Quality Control Managers, and safety staff to support project objectives
- Participate in onsite meetings, reporting, and coordination with Owners, Government Representatives, and internal teams
- Proactively identify issues, risks, or constraints and help drive practical, field-oriented solutions
- Support schedule adherence, progress tracking, and documentation
- Assist with the coordination of subcontractors and the sequencing of work
- Support documentation, daily reporting, and field records as required
- Assist the Superintendent and Project Manager with field oversight and issue resolution
- Assist with the implementation and enforcement of project safety plans and EM 385-1-1 requirements
- Support safety inspections, hazard identification, and corrective actions
- Participate in safety meetings, toolbox talks, and compliance documentation as required
- Assist the Superintendent and Quality Control Manager with field quality oversight
- Support inspections, documentation, and compliance with Quality Control Plans
- Help ensure work conforms to contract documents, plans, and specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field
- Willingness and ability to travel and work onsite full-time
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in construction supervision, with at least three (3) years managing federal projects under USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA, or similar
- Up-to-date certifications preferred: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, EM 385-1-1
- Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain necessary clearances/badging for secure government sites.
