About the role

  • Set the Sales Strategy: Develop and execute regional and national strategies to grow adoption of Valet Living’s amenity solutions within the multifamily industry.
  • Drive Scalable Growth: Optimize revenue growth, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and client satisfaction through disciplined execution and data-driven decision making.
  • Lead & Develop Leaders: Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Regional Sales Managers who, in turn, develop Regional Sales Directors and Regional Sales Executives.
  • Build Regional Plans: Create short- and long-term regional plans that align with organizational goals and maximize revenue potential.
  • Talent & Team Building: Partner in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and development of sales leadership and executive talent.
  • Support Complex Deals: Assist teams with contract negotiations and participate in executive-level sales meetings as needed.
  • Enable Sales Excellence: Share best practices, support professional development, and reinforce consistent sales processes across regions.
  • Market & Competitive Insight: Monitor market trends and competitive activity, adjusting sales and go-to-market strategies to stay ahead of industry shifts.
  • Executive Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships with major multifamily ownership and management companies within assigned regions.
  • Industry Presence: Represent Valet Living at key industry associations and events, including NAA, NMHC, and MFE.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner closely with Field Operations, Marketing, and Sales Operations to ensure alignment between sales execution, service delivery, and customer experience.
  • Metrics & Infrastructure: Collaborate with Sales Operations to define and leverage the metrics, reporting, and technology needed to predict, track, and scale success.

Requirements

  • Sales Leadership Experience: A proven sales leader with 5+ years of experience leading sales teams and 10+ years in a business-to-business outside consultative sales environment.
  • Multifamily Expertise: Experience selling in or to the multifamily industry, with a strong understanding of ownership, management, and operational decision-making.
  • Scalable Leadership: Demonstrated success implementing scalable sales processes, organizational structures, and repeatable go-to-market motions.
  • Remote Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire distributed teams while consistently exceeding revenue objectives.
  • Strategic & Collaborative: Strong cross-functional partnership skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders across the organization.
  • Operational Acumen: Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM/database tools, with a strong grasp of forecasting, reporting, and performance management.
