About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Personally own and close critical leadership, technical, and strategic hires across the company
Partner with leadership on org design, leveling, compensation benchmarking, hiring plans, and workforce strategy
Oversee and scale the recruiting function, including recruiting operations, external recruiting partners, and high-volume hiring
Shape Valerie’s talent brand and position the company as a destination for ambitious operators, engineers, and leaders
Build scalable recruiting infrastructure, including ATS workflows, interview design, funnel analytics, and reporting systems
Define the candidate experience reflecting a high-talent-density, mission-driven, high-performance culture

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-8+ years of recruiting and talent experience across high-growth startups, talent-dense technology companies, and/or top-tier search firms
Experience hiring senior technical and business leaders and ideally have built or scaled recruiting functions from an early stage
Ability to shape hiring strategy while building scalable processes, strong funnel visibility, and operational rigor across recruiting
Strong calibration and high standards for talent identification
Exceptional communicator to represent the company with senior candidates
Experience hiring across both technical and non-technical functions, including GTM, Operations, G&A, and leadership roles
