About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Personally own and close critical leadership, technical, and strategic hires across the company
- Partner with leadership on org design, leveling, compensation benchmarking, hiring plans, and workforce strategy
- Oversee and scale the recruiting function, including recruiting operations, external recruiting partners, and high-volume hiring
- Shape Valerie’s talent brand and position the company as a destination for ambitious operators, engineers, and leaders
- Build scalable recruiting infrastructure, including ATS workflows, interview design, funnel analytics, and reporting systems
- Define the candidate experience reflecting a high-talent-density, mission-driven, high-performance culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-8+ years of recruiting and talent experience across high-growth startups, talent-dense technology companies, and/or top-tier search firms
- Experience hiring senior technical and business leaders and ideally have built or scaled recruiting functions from an early stage
- Ability to shape hiring strategy while building scalable processes, strong funnel visibility, and operational rigor across recruiting
- Strong calibration and high standards for talent identification
- Exceptional communicator to represent the company with senior candidates
- Experience hiring across both technical and non-technical functions, including GTM, Operations, G&A, and leadership roles
