About the role
- Participates, understands and challenges monthly closing of PL R&D costs and revenues
- Provides analysis of monthly results to PL management (explain variance vs. budget, month N-1 on R&D) on PL level
- Consolidate the financial performance of PL R&D P&L in weekly Best estimate reporting
- Consolidate and challenges monthly PL R&D Forecast with the sites
- Challenges correct reporting of costs per TPL
- Supports R&D and Project managers with exact financial data
- Contribute to R&D Budget and MTP processes (guidelines, recharges, standard templates…)
- Benchmarks and standardizes management control tools
- Achieves specific ad-hoc analysis
- Proposes solutions for the litigations between sites, product lines, product groups on R&D
- Achieves on-site management control reviews
- Ensure the deployment of standard tools from Group/Division within product line
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in R&D or project management control
- Knowledge of the automotive industry or equivalent
- Ability to coordinate on-site controllers and ensure follow-up
- Fluent in English
