About the role
- Lead and mentor geographically distributed teams in the United States, Europe, and Latin America responsible for designing, building, and operating Valcre’s platform
- Drive the effective adoption of an AI-first strategy throughout the platform and engineering processes
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to drive innovation and solve complex client challenges across our platform
- Direct best practices for designing and architecting scalable solutions, including leading design reviews, code reviews, and onboarding new technologies
- Manage platform strategy and vision for a highly-reliable and scalable premium platform
- Foster collaboration among individual teams and across the organization, identifying efficiency opportunities with AI and workflow tooling
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience and 3+ years of management experience
- Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining modern applications and data pipelines on Azure or AWS
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI capabilities into SaaS products, including leveraging AI to improve workflow efficiency, user experience, or decision-making
- Strong understanding of emerging AI technologies and their practical application in enterprise-grade software systems
- Highly technical and effective people manager with experience directly leading distributed teams
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills working across multiple teams in the company
- Track record of delivering high-quality products with an emphasis on reliability, scalability, and user experience
- Experience delivering similar industry solutions preferred, especially enterprise-grade SaaS products within the proptech/CRE industries
