About the role

  • You will be part of our Field Service team.
  • Together with the team, you play a key role in improving the reliability and quality of our high-tech products.
  • In this role, you will perform software installation and configuration, validation, calibration, and mapping.
  • You will be working in close co-operation with our sales team, R&D professionals, and customers.
  • Domestic travelling in Sweden is expected in this role as most of your working time will be spent in customer locations.
  • To enable us to better support the wider team, occasional travel within Europe will also be required.
  • When not working on customer sites, you will work from your home office.
  • In this role, you will report to Field Service Manager, EMEA.
  • Installing Vaisala software and hardware
  • System configuration
  • Customer training
  • Execution of IQOQ protocols
  • Mapping
  • On-site calibration of various sensors
  • Customer technical support
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of products and processes

Requirements

  • Education background in Engineering, IT or Metrology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical role
  • Proven experience in customer service
  • Proactiveness and self-directed way of working, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage own work independently
  • A basic understanding of calibration is a plus
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally within Europe
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in Swedish and in English
  • Valid Driver’s License
