About the role
- Assist in managing civil litigation cases nationwide, with particular emphasis on plaintiff-side eviction proceedings, including matters before arbitration panels and the enforcement (Cumprimento de Sentença) phase;
- Monitor, draft, track and distribute newly received lawsuits; review initial documentation; request user registrations in systems; issue payment slips/guides and forward them for payment; and assist in managing matters through to conclusion;
- Monitor, draft, track and distribute new arbitral enforcement proceedings (arbitral Cumprimento de Sentença);
- Update and maintain internal and external systems, including task management;
- Monitor emails and draft responses to specific requests;
- Update reports;
- Monitor administrative workflows and settlements;
- Perform in-person diligences and attend hearings when required.
Requirements
- Education: Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
- Skills: Proficient in the Windows environment and the main Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and PDF software.
- Essential: Experience with tenancy/lease law, evictions and enforcement/execution proceedings.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Elaw and AdvWin.
