About the role

  • Understand the brief for each event on the surf and skate platform, ensuring alignment between planning, execution and brand standards;
  • Solicit quotes, negotiate and contract suppliers (structure, services, logistics, staff, security, cleaning, catering, among others);
  • Prepare and update budget spreadsheets and event requirements schedules;
  • Support and conduct technical site visits (VTs), assessing arenas, flows and operational risks;
  • Assist with event permitting/legalization processes with the permit broker and organize documents and legal requirements;
  • Work in partnership with the incentives team, assisting in processes and execution;
  • Oversee all stages of production, from pre-event to execution, including on-site financial closeout;
  • Quickly identify and resolve operational issues arising during pre-production and event execution;
  • Work closely with Supply to ensure supplier procurement is efficient and strategic;
  • Conduct post-event activities, analyzing results and feedback to identify improvements for future events;
  • Interface with related areas such as Administration, Finance, Supply and Incentives;
  • Use financial and procurement systems;
  • Perform other related activities as directed by leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience in event production (sports event experience is a plus)
  • Organized, pragmatic profile with strong on-site performance
  • Availability to travel and work on weekends
  • Ability to make quick, effective decisions; highly proactive and resourceful in anticipating challenges and finding creative solutions
  • Strategic and analytical thinking, able to assess risks and optimize processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ensuring good interpersonal relationships with internal teams and suppliers
  • Ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments, maintaining composure and efficiency
  • Leadership mindset to coordinate teams and ensure alignment with event objectives
