About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently draft, review, revise, and negotiate complex commercial agreements
- Analyze and negotiate non-standard contract provisions
- Serve as the primary day-to-day Legal Department contact for assigned contracting matters
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, and Compliance teams and executive leadership
- Provide practical recommendations regarding contractual terms, risk allocation, and negotiation strategies
- Contribute to Legal team’s development and continuous refinement of contract templates
- Support and maintain contract lifecycle processes and systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Paralegal Studies, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing complex commercial contracts
- Extensive experience negotiating contractual terms directly with customers, vendors, business partners, and other counterparties
- Ability to read, interpret, and draft sophisticated legal and business agreements
- Experience identifying legal, operational, financial, and compliance risks within contractual agreements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong understanding of contract law principles, contractual risk allocation, and commercial negotiation practices
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and document management systems
