Develop, replicate, modify, and support global automation systems in Belgium, France, US, Mexico, China, Japan, and India.
Apply sophisticated PLC/SCADA/Simotion proficiencies to global initiatives, with a focus on the software development process.
Build test plans to verify the fitness of software for use.
Carry out commissioning and support validation of control systems.
Act as a liaison between R&D and production site automation (control systems) engineers/maintenance.
Help management encourage colleagues to actively contribute to environmental and health safety initiatives.
Design modifications to existing automation systems based on process diagrams, user requirements, functional requirements, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and machine mechanical drawings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree required; Master of Science degree preferred.
Experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Robotics, with an emphasis on automation.
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
