About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, implement, and support manufacturing IT/OT systems across their entire lifecycle, from concept through sustained operation.
Support and enhance systems such as RTLS, RFID, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), vision inspection systems, supervisory control platforms, and custom reporting solutions.
Collaborate with plant engineering, global controls engineering, global MES, and IT infrastructure teams to ensure reliable 24/7 manufacturing system performance.
Develop system specifications, interfaces, troubleshooting guidelines, and technical documentation in regulated manufacturing environments.
Support system testing, validation (GAMP), training documentation, and compliance activities.
Coordinate and manage external vendors and system integrators when required.
Act as the site liaison to global teams, ensuring alignment, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Advanced experience (typically 5–10 years) working with manufacturing systems in food processing, pharmaceutical, or closely related regulated industries.
Strong programming skills using high‑level languages such as C#, C/C++, Python, or similar.
Experience with control system platforms (PLC/HMI/SCADA); Siemens and GE iFix experience are advantageous.
Hands‑on experience with manufacturing operations systems such as MES, warehouse management systems, and system integrations.
Proficiency working with SQL databases (e.g., MSSQL, PostgreSQL) and data‑driven reporting.
Ability to analyze business and technical requirements, model processes, and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional and global teams.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
