About the role
- Perform full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities.
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, bank accounts, and credit card transactions.
- Post and review general ledger entries; ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Maintain accounting records in line with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
- Lead transition to NetSuite, including data migration and COA design.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support tax filings and liaise with CPAs, auditors, and consultants.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Track cash flow, burn rate, and report KPIs to management.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Establish consistent practices for multi-entity and global operations.
- Maintain clean audit trails for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with CFO, founders, and cross-border accounting teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper, or in a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite and/or QuickBooks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
