About the role
- Design and implement an automation strategy for the organization's IT systems using Ansible
- Manage the configuration of servers, networks, and software across the organization
- Automate the deployment of software across various environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the Ansible environment and automated tasks
- Ensure compliance with security policies and relevant regulations
- Document all Ansible configurations, playbooks, and procedures
- Train and mentor other IT staff in the use of Ansible and IT automation principles
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- Professional certifications such as Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation are highly desirable
- At least 5 years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years of experience in managing Ansible environments
- Strong understanding of Ansible and its components, including playbooks, roles, and Ansible Tower
- Familiarity with Linux system administration, shell scripting, networking, and security
- Experience with other configuration management or IT automation tools is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
