Key responsibilities & impact

Investigate and handle personal and commercial auto bodily injury claims of a complex and serious nature
Perform special claims investigations and handle matters requiring broad technical claims knowledge
Operate on an independent basis with little supervision
Settle claims within assigned authority
Maintain contact with attorneys concerning serious claim matters
Review court decisions, law and coverage interpretations

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-year degree or equivalent experience
1-2 years as Claims Specialist handling auto bodily injury or 3-4 years adjusting experience
Experience in auto bodily injury with knowledge of commercial claims preferred
Knowledge of NY venues strongly preferred
Licensing Required to obtain your license(s) as an adjuster in the state(s) in which you are assigned to adjust claims.
