About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and execute a comprehensive major gifts fundraising strategy
  • Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, and steward high-capacity donors and family foundations
  • Manage a portfolio of 75 donors
  • Leverage wealth analytics to qualify new prospects
  • Maintain an active schedule of moves management to prospect and steward donors
  • Collaborate with the Major Gifts team for strategies and revenue growth
  • Prepare and present oral and written reports

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 5+ years work experience in individual, foundation, and corporate giving/sponsorship development role
  • At least 2 years of experience as a frontline fundraiser managing a portfolio of individual donors
  • Track record of directly soliciting and securing gifts of $25,000+
  • Relevant experience in a national or global organization preferred
