Key responsibilities & impact

Apply extensive product, technical, and application expertise to promote Gypsum Division products
Establish strong relationships with gypsum specialty dealers and contractors
Collaborate effectively with contractor specialty representatives
Maximize growth in sales volume and gross profit
Build relationships to increase preference for USG Gypsum products
Manage complaint process effectively
Use Salesforce.com to manage customer information and track jobs
Monitor and report competitive activity
Assist in answering technical questions regarding Gypsum products

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field
Two years’ minimum outside sales experience in the building industry or an aligned business
Basic working knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices
Previous outside sales experience with a proven track record of growth
Computer proficiency required in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Salesforce.com experience
Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to travel approximately up to 50%
